This was the best Christmas present I could ever get. Proof that Angels & Airwaves is still a band, that they really are releasing a film and movie in February, wasn’t just a figment of my imagination. The tiny clip of this song I heard a few days ago didn’t do much for me, but the full song is absolutely perfect. Musically, Tom DeLonge can do no wrong with this band as far as I’m concerned. This band has a purpose, this band has a theme, this band inspires. Whenever I hear an AVA song, whenever I hear the instrumental elements or when I hear Tom’s voice sing his lyrics, the heartfelt lyrics he has written from the bottom of his heart… it sends me into pure euphoria. My entire body is filled with warmth. I have been a devoted fan of theirs for 5 solid years, since the first time I heard the first song they leaked as a band. That same song saved my life a couple of months later. I just adore Tom DeLonge and this band more than words can say…. and I love how happy this band makes me feel. 5 years later, and I am still hopelessly in love with him and with them. That will never change. I can’t wait for Valentine’s Day when I can hear the rest of the tracks, and in April or May when I get to see them live again. Angels & Airwaves is more than a band to me… ahh. So in love. Merry Christmas. :)
