blink-182 was my favorite band for a huge chunk of my life. From about 1997 until 2005. But in late 2005.. I heard the song.. written by a man I adored.. in a band I would grow to love.. that would do so much for me.

blink-182 was my favorite band for about 8 years. But their first break-up brought me Angels & Airwaves. Seeing blink live after all of those years was amazing, there is no denying that. One of the best shows of my entire life, there are only a few times in my entire life I’ve felt happier than I did that night in August. But if they decide to break-up again after this European tour and new album, so be it.

I love blink, and I always will. But the first break-up brought a new side of Tom DeLonge and with that came the greatest songs ever written as far as I’m concerned. They inspire, they soothe, they save lives. Like mine.
